So what’s a “stat” link?
You know sites like Alexa, or QuantCast where you can enter your URL and see a page of stats generated about your domain on-the-fly? Well, that’s what WPI does here. These pages all contain a link back to your site, which we help Google to find by pinging the link after confirming it’s really there.
Recommended Setting:
I keep this on all the time. However try turning this on for a few days, and check the log to see if you’re happy with the quality of links. Remember, these links are to help get you indexed, not ranked.
